The host was extremely polite and helpful throughout the process. Traveling out of state with children can be stressful and the owners went above and beyond to help our experience go smoothly. With some extra help in the set up and trip prep, it definitely made a return customer out of us. Trailer was nice and clean and was set up amazingly for our trip. A great experience overall.

The RV matches the photos and description. Overall, everything worked smoothly and without any issues. The only issue is high fuel consumption. This may be normal for this type of vehicle, but it's hard for me to say since it was my first experience. Kristin was nice, responsive, and always available. Thank you so much for such a great experience. I'll definitely use her again. I highly recommend her!

cindy H. - Aug 2024

First RV we've rented and it's the experience of a lifetime. What more could you wish for than to travel through the American West and sleep in nature and not deal with hotels. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone and thanks to Christina's approach, because she showed us how easy RV maintenance is and that there is nothing to worry about. We were in contact even on the trip and she always found time to give us advice. We rate 10/10 and wish Christina all the best and other happy travelers. Thank you very much

Nevada is RV-friendly, with dozens of campgrounds and RV parks for every style. Check out Red Rock Canyon Campground for epic desert scenery, Valley of Fire State Park for stunning rock formations, and Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town for convenient city access. Booking ahead is smart, especially in spring and fall, the busiest seasons for Nevada RV camping.

When is the best time for an RV road trip in Nevada?

The best time for a Nevada RV trip is from March to May or late September to early November, when daytime highs range from 65 to 85°F in Las Vegas and nights are pleasantly cool. How do I budget for fuel on my Nevada RV trip?

Planning your gas budget is smart for an RV rental Nevada adventure. Most motorhomes in Nevada average 8 to 12 MPG, while travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle. As of spring 2024, gas prices in Las Vegas average $4.20/gallon, less than many western states. Use apps like GasBuddy to track prices and plan refueling stops, especially in remote areas. Pro tip: Nevada has long desert stretches, so top off your tank when you pass towns like Tonopah or Ely.

How far in advance should I reserve campgrounds in Nevada?

For the best campgrounds near Nevada attractions, book 3 to 6 months ahead during spring and fall, especially at places like Valley of Fire State Park and Great Basin National Park. Reserve Nevada state park sites online at least 30 days in advance. Many Bureau of Land Management (BLM) areas allow first-come, first-served RV camping if you prefer last-minute freedom. Insider tip: If you love spontaneous trips, check Nevada state park cancelation lists for last-minute openings.

What is driving like in Nevada with an RV? Any road hazards or rules I should know?

Nevada's highways are RV-friendly, with wide lanes and little traffic outside Las Vegas or Reno. Watch for sudden weather changes in mountain areas and keep an eye on roadwork or desert winds, especially near Tonopah or along US-95. Always check your clearance before entering tunnels or city parking garages. For safer summer drives, hit the road early to avoid peak heat. Nevada's big open spaces make RVing here feel stress-free: just stay hydrated and enjoy the ride.

What equipment and hookups are available at Nevada campgrounds?

Most developed Nevada campgrounds offer water and electric hookups, while some (like at Valley of Fire) provide only basic facilities. Full 'dump stations' are available at larger parks and many private RV resorts statewide. Plan to fill your tank at campground spigots and empty wastewater at designated dump stations, often free with your stay. Bonus tip: Nevada's state parks frequently offer covered tables, grills, and fire rings for relaxing meals under the stars.

What features come standard in a Nevada RV rental?

Your Nevada motorhome rental or campervan rental will typically include beds that sleep 2 to 8, a kitchen (with fridge, stove, sink), bathroom, A/C, heat, and plenty of storage. Many rentals offer TVs, WiFi, solar panels, or onboard generators; check individual listings for details and add-ons. All vehicles include required seatbelts and most have awnings for shady desert afternoons. Hosts outline features during your orientation, so you can settle in comfortably from day one.

What popular upgrades and add-ons are offered for Nevada RV rentals?

Nevada RV rentals often include fun add-ons: portable grills, camp chairs, bike racks, kitchen kits, and even festival packages for events like EDC Las Vegas. Instant Book is available for extra flexibility, and many hosts offer options for early pickup or late drop-off. Need more miles? Opt for an unlimited mileage upgrade. Each listing on RVezy details available extras; just pick what fits your Nevada adventure.

How does payment and the security deposit work for RV rentals in Nevada?

Booking your RV rental in Nevada is secure and easy: just reserve online, pay by credit card, and your security deposit is held safely until your trip ends. The deposit amount appears at checkout and is returned automatically if the RV comes back in good condition. To set yourself up for a smooth refund, do a quick walk-around with your host at handoff. You'll get a receipt and status update right to your inbox.
