2020 Jayco Travel Trailer
The trailer worked well for us, especially when a cold spell brought temperatures below freezing for couple of nights in the end of May. It was easy to tow up into the mountains and back. Jonathan is a great host. He is very helpful and accommodating, quick to answer questions, flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. Will rent from him again.

Tanner was great with communication and went out of his way to accommodate us! This RV worked flawlessly; all of the systems worked great. I wanted to find an RV with a generator so that we would be able to use it while not connected to shore power, and it all worked out well. During our stay the temps dropped into the 40’s for a few nights so we used the heater, and later was near 90 so we also used the A/C. Use water sparingly and you’ll have plenty of storage in the tanks. We were able to use it for a week and only had to dump and fill at the end of the week. Tanner was a great host and we took advantage of him dropping the RV off at the airport and then meeting us at a hotel before flying out. I highly recommend this unit. It’s older but has very few miles on it and runs like new.

We had a great experience renting Eddie’s trailer. We agreed on a meeting time and he had it set up just before I arrived. The trailer is very large and spacious. It has some cool added features like an outdoor kitchen and extra refrigerator. We stayed in the trailer two nights and it made our trip very easy. Eddie was easy to reach and quick to respond with any questions I had. Great communicator, made the trip very easy.

What are California’s RV driving conditions like, especially near big cities or coastlines?

California RV driving is easier than you think—highways are smooth and scenic, but watch for heavy LA and Bay Area traffic, tight coastal curves (think Highway 1 near Big Sur), and occasional wildfire road closures. Keep right except to pass, mind bridge height clearances, and plan city driving early or late. Use Caltrans road conditions for live updates, and let RV delivery take the hassle out of downtown traffic.

What amenities and hookups do California campgrounds provide?

Most California RV campgrounds offer full or partial hookups—think water, 30/50A electric, and dump stations (available at Malibu Beach RV Park, for example). State park sites often have potable water and basic hookups, but double-check before booking. Public dump and fill stations are shown on the CA State Parks map. Plan ahead for remote areas like Joshua Tree, which may be dry camping.

Every listing on RVezy shows exactly what is included, so you can match the RV to your trip and just pack clothes, food, and personal items.
